  • Art Struck: Home of the Artist's Atlas, a listing of nationwide galleries, art centers, museums, and organizations.
  • ArtBizCoach.com: Alyson Stanfield, a former museum curator and educator, offers business advice to artists through online classes, individual consultations, publications, and a free weekly e-newsletter.
  • The Artist Help Network: Free information service helping artists take control of their careers. They assist artists in locating information, resources, guidance, and advice on a comprehensive range of career-related topics
  • The Artist's Marketing and Action Plan Workbook: I recently obtained a copy of this book and highly recommend it. Written by internationally known artist, Jonathan Talbot, it will help any artist refine and execute their marketing plan.
  • ArtPromote.com - Art Directory: Today's premier art directory and artist resource guide featuring multiple categories and free listings for artists, craftspeople, and galleries.
  • Arts5.com: A comprehensive art directory
  • Craft Showplace: Includes a comprehensive listing of all the major show guides with their addresses, coverage area, and web sites.
  • www.CreativeHelps.com: Helpful resources designed to energize and stimulate your creative juices! Find practical articles, links, tips, and resources to help you turn your creative blocks into stepping stones along the path to your creative destiny. Submit your tips and articles about the creative process.
  • Dick Blick Art Materials: Dick Blick Art Materials has served artists with discount art supplies since 1911. The site is easy to navigate and they offer a low price guarantee.
  • Festival Network Online: A nationwide art & craft show, festival & event guide offering a free newsletter of application deadlines and tips for shows and festivals. Includes an extensive page of links of business and festival resources.
  • National Lawyers for the Arts Network: Providing a broad range of free and low-cost legal services, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts offices can be found in all 50 United States, US territories, and Canada.
  • New York Foundation for the Arts: Includes a searchable database for grants and fellowships.
  • Selling Your Art Online: A web site and newsletter that covers topics that artists and crafts people need to know to successfully sell their creative work on the Internet. The web site is an archive of past articles, resource links, and an extensive listing of online galleries created by subscribers to the Selling Your Art Online newsletter.
  • VistaPrint: I can't stress enough how important it is for an artist to have and carry business cards. You never know when you'll meet a collector interested in your work. Too many artists think they're too small. VistaPrint is a wonderful solution. They offer 30 different business card designs for free, and reasonable rates for their other products. Don't be caught without a business card again.
  • WetCanvas!: An artist-centric portal site, artist repository and daily magazine, featuring books/videos, reviews, tips, tutorials, lessons, ArtSchool Online, message boards, feature articles, free virtual gallery space, and much more!
  • Working Artist: Software application developed by an artist for artists to help manage the business side of art. You can download or order a free trial version to test before purchasing. Requires Windows operating system, or VirtualPC if you are using a Mac.
  • Your Plan B: Jamey, David, and Cat have made quite a name for themselves by building websites for the art community. Their experience has taught them how to build easy to navigate, stylish, and search engine friendly sites. Yes, you can have it all.
